Take Profit Trader: answers before choosing an account
These answers apply to the named plan and stage. Other account versions can differ.
Can a losing day change Take Profit Trader consistency?
Yes. In the Test, the best net day must stay below 50% of total net profit. Hypothetically, $1,600 ÷ $3,300 is about 48.5%; a later $200 net loss raises it to about 51.6%. With the same best day, total net profit must exceed $3,200. Exactly 50% is insufficient. This is an illustration of the official formula, not a funded-account payout rule.

How does the LUMI code work at Take Profit Trader?
LUMI is listed for eligible Take Profit Trader accounts. These examples show one account per eligible plan, with the initial fee, separate activation charge and price basis. Other sizes and options can differ.
Code evidence varies or is not recorded. A completed checkout test is not established for every listed offer. Confirm the selected account's price and code terms at checkout.
Enter LUMI in the firm’s checkout and check the final price. A better automatic sale is shown separately and is not an extra LUMI saving. Renewals, resets, payout conditions and country restrictions can change the total cost and suitability. Prices are in USD; account sizes are nominal balances. Funded. Now may earn a commission from eligible purchases.
Each example below belongs to one specific account. Other sizes and variants can have different limits, fees and payout conditions. A payout cadence is not a promise that a new account is immediately eligible.
This example uses Test, a single 50K account, at regular catalog fees before discounts.
Initial evaluation fee
$170.00
Regular reset fee
$99.00
Two months, one reset, then activation
$569.00
This model counts the initial monthly charge, one renewal, one paid reset and regular activation after passing. A reset does not replace a renewal charge.
Promotions may lower these figures. Taxes, commissions, optional platform or data charges, and funded-account resets are excluded. Passing and payout eligibility remain separate requirements.
Consistency: Not publishedHighest single trading day's profit divided by net P/L; the result must be below 50%
Minimum trading days: 3
Time limit: None
Resets: Allowed
Scaling: None
Additional Rules
News trading during the test: Allowed
Commissions: $4.50 per round trip per futures contract; $1.50 per round trip per micro
Automatic profit-goal adjustment: Follow the dashboard target; official formula unclear
Minimum trading days changed from 5 to 3: 3 trading days on tests purchased from 17 August 2026 onward; earlier tests and the resets attached to them keep the 5-day minimum
Approved trading hours: 6:00 PM ET to 5:00 PM ET; TPT auto-closes open positions at 4:55 PM ET
Simultaneous test accounts: Unlimited
Subscription must be cancelled manually: Yes
Tests bought with reward credits: Valid for 60 days and not eligible for any promotion
Soft Breaches
Highest trading day exceeds 50% of net P/L at the moment the profit target is reached: The test remains active. Follow the dashboard profit target; the official formula and example conflict.
Hard Breach Rules
Account balance drops to the minimum account balance (starting balance minus the end-of-day trailing maximum drawdown) at any moment, through realised or unrealised lossesThe account is immediately liquidated. Continuing requires a paid reset or a new test account. The floor itself only recalculates at the end of the trading day and trails the highest end-of-day balance until it reaches the original starting balance, where it stops. It is nonetheless enforced in real time against realised and unrealised losses.
Holding more than the maximum position size for the account size (3 / 6 / 9 / 12 / 15 minis, or 10x that in permitted micros)Rule 2 violation. TPT's Universal Trading Policies state a violation may result in profit forfeiture, account reset, account closure, or removal from the platform. The limit is a static cap on the position open at one time, not a daily volume cap. Micro allowance is exactly 10x the mini limit.
Carrying a position from one trading day into the next, or failing to exit before the product's market closeThe account is liquidated. TPT auto-closes any open position at 4:55 PM ET, but a product whose market closes earlier than 5 PM ET must be exited by the trader. The futures trading window is 6 PM ET to 5 PM ET. A trade opened at or after 6 PM ET counts toward the next trading day. Holiday-shortened sessions are the trader's responsibility.
Holding opposite positions in the same or closely related products (ES/MES, NQ/MNQ, YM/MYM) across any accounts under the same beneficial controlBoth accounts are automatically liquidated. Consequences may extend to forfeiture of profits and restrictions or a permanent ban depending on severity.Rule 6 applies across Test, PRO and PRO+ alike, and TPT says it runs near real-time compliance monitoring against CME rules 432, 531, 533, 534 and 539.
Automated, bot or algorithmic execution; all trades must be manually executedUniversal Trading Policy #1 violation; may result in profit forfeiture, account reset, account closure, or removal from the platform.Trade copiers are permitted for execution assistance under the Independent Trade Execution Policy, but coordinated or mirrored execution across separate identities is not.

The PRO Account Rules article lists six rules and none is a daily loss limit; the homepage prints per-size daily loss figures struck through and labelled 'Removed'. The only daily loss limit TPT publishes anywhere is the soft-breach limit on PRO+ Development accounts, a discretionary placement recorded under takeprofit-pro-plus.

Additional Rules
One-time PRO activation fee: 130
PRO account resets: Up to 3 per account: $449 (25K), $649 (50K), $799 (75K), $999 (100K), $1,499 (150K)
Weekly trading requirement: At least one round trip on a permitted instrument per calendar week (Sunday-Friday)
No open positions or orders around prohibited news: Flat and order-free one minute before, during and one minute after FOMC statements (Wed 2:00 PM ET), NFP (Fri 8:30 AM ET) and CPI; plus Crude Oil Inventories for crude, and bond auctions for the 10-Year Note and 30-Year Bond
Withdrawing profit from inside the buffer: Only after the account is terminated: 50% if traded 60 trading days or fewer since opening, 80% after that

How PRO+ is reached: By invitation, at TPT's sole discretion, after a holistic review of consistency, risk management, execution and discipline
Hard Breach Rules
Account balance drops to the minimum account balance at any moment, through realised or unrealised losses, under an intraday trailing drawdownThe account is immediately liquidated. Returning to PRO requires either a paid PRO reset (up to three per account) or passing a new test. This is the single biggest rule change from the test: the drawdown trails the intraday peak balance including unrealised gains, not the end-of-day balance. It stops trailing once it reaches the starting balance.
Failing to exit an open position before a CME limit up / limit down price limit is reachedThe PRO account is lost.TPT hedges against traders holding positions near price limits, which is why it treats this as an account-ending event rather than a warning.
Holding opposite positions in the same or closely related products across any accounts under the same beneficial controlAutomatic liquidation and closure of the affected accounts, possible forfeiture of profits, and restrictions or a permanent ban depending on severity.Applies identically across Test, PRO and PRO+.
Automated, bot or algorithmic execution; all trades must be manually executed by the traderUniversal Trading Policy #1 violation; may result in profit forfeiture, account reset, account closure, or removal from the platform.Rule 1 of the PRO contract.
Carrying a position from one trading session into the next, or trading outside approved products and hoursUniversal Trading Policy #6 violation; may result in profit forfeiture, account reset, account closure, or removal from the platform. The Universal Trading Policies apply to Test, PRO and PRO+ alike.
Policies & Conditions
IP / Location Restrictions Apply
“VPN usage is specifically restricted during the account registration process. New customers must complete registration without an active VPN connection. This registration restriction should not be interpreted as a general prohibition on VPN usage after an account has been successfully registered.” Separately, the restricted-countries policy forbids “the use of VPNs, remote connections, or shared networks that may route activity through a restricted country”.
Payout Summary
Payout methods
Plaid - US bank accounts only, real-time payment or ACH depending on the bank
PayPal - international; PayPal may deduct its own additional fees
Wise - international bank wire, covering 160 countries; required for LLC payouts (PayPal also accepted for an LLC with an established account)
Payout Processing Time
Review & approval — 0–12 hours
Transfer once approved — 0–2 business days
Two steps. (1) Account to wallet: for the majority of Tradovate PRO accounts this is now fully automated and “will take 5-10 seconds” with no manual review; Rithmic PRO, PRO+ and a small number of archived Tradovate PRO accounts remain manual. The trader must be flat with no open positions or working orders at the moment of the request, and the only four denial reasons published are insufficient funds, open positions or working orders, Tradovate maintenance and a Tradovate API fault — each resubmittable immediately. (2) Wallet to bank: “The Profit Team manually reviews payout requests to the wallet for compliance purposes, which takes up to 12 business hours, though usually a lot faster”. After approval, US Plaid payouts are “typically real-time, though in some cases it may take 1-2 business days depending on the bank”, while PayPal and Wise are “processed within 12 business hours”. Dashboard balances update between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM ET, so same-day profit reaches the wallet the same evening. Withdrawals over $250 from the wallet are free; a request of $250 or less carries a $50 fee deducted automatically. A signed tax form is required before the first payout, and payouts can be blocked if the tax form data is wrong.
KYC Verification
Required
Three separate checks. (1) KYC identity verification is mandatory at registration, before any purchase or trading: “All new registrants at TakeProfitTrader must complete a KYC (Know Your Customer) verification before becoming fully verified customers”, usually completing within minutes, with manual review by a 24/5 team where automated screening fails. (2) A tax form must be signed before the first payout, through provider ComplyExchange — W-9 for a US resident, citizen or US-registered company and W-8BEN otherwise; “all PRO Accounts users and affiliates must complete and sign the required tax form before any withdrawal can be processed”. (3) KYB business verification, US companies only and limited to three attempts, is required to trade as a company. Bank, Wise and PayPal payout details must match the registered user or the payout is delayed for manual review or denied; LLC payouts must go through Wise or an LLC PayPal account.
Trading Hours
Positions must be flat by — 4:55 PM ET (TPT auto-closes any open position at that time; the trading day ends at 5:00 PM ET)
New trading day starts — 6:00 PM ET
“Trading window: 6 PM Eastern – 5 PM Eastern”, and “any trade opened at or after 6 PM counts toward the next trading day”. Traders are told to know the specific hours of the product they trade: “If the market for your product closes before 5 PM Eastern and you cannot exit before the deadline, the account will be liquidated.” Holiday schedules are the trader's responsibility and “missing a holiday-adjusted close time will result in account liquidation.” Prohibited-news blackout windows (one minute before, during and one minute after FOMC, NFP and CPI, plus Crude Oil Inventories and bond auctions for the affected products) apply to PRO and PRO+ on top of these hours.
Account Limits
Funded accounts at once — 5 per trader
“You can maintain up to five active PRO/PRO+ accounts simultaneously” — five in total across both types, not five of each — and “the limit of 5 active PRO/PRO+ accounts is per person”. Evaluations are explicitly uncapped: “Traders can have as many test accounts as they want and trade them simultaneously”. A separate throttle limits activation of passed tests to 10 within any 30 calendar days. The homepage journey table shows the same 5 funded / unlimited evaluation split.
Refund Policy
Refundable
The Terms say an unused, untraded account can be refunded within 72 hours, less a $75 technology/market-data fee. The wording does not clarify whether 72 hours is the request deadline or processing time. Cancelling an ongoing subscription is separate from a refund; Test resets do not move renewal dates.
Inactivity
Must trade at least once every — 7 days
Status — Restricted
“To keep your PRO Account active, you must trade at least one day per calendar week (Sunday–Friday)”, where a traded day is a day with at least one round trip on a permitted instrument; the identical rule is listed for PRO+ accounts. The stated purpose is that traders “do not keep capital idle or ‘squat’ on a PRO Account”, and the firm invites traders to contact support for a temporary exception. No weekly trading requirement is published for Test (evaluation) accounts, which instead run as an open-ended monthly subscription.
Path to Live Capital
Available
PRO+ is the live-market stage of the one-step journey (Test → PRO → PRO+): “PRO+ accounts are live accounts that have a $0 margin. Upon transitioning to a PRO+ account, the trader is classified as a professional trader.” It is invitation-only — “Once a trader becomes eligible for a PRO+ upgrade, an official invitation will be sent via email by the Take Profit Trader team” — and “the decision to upgrade a trader to a PRO+ account is made solely at the discretion of Take Profit Trader”. Traders showing higher-risk patterns may instead be placed on PRO+ Development, a live account with reduced contract sizing, a soft-breach daily loss limit and a smaller end-of-day drawdown.
What gets you there
No published threshold: “Advancement into PRO+ is based on a comprehensive review of trading performance and behavior across multiple objective factors” — consistency, risk management, execution patterns and overall trading discipline over time — and “there isn't a single threshold that determines promotion”
Upgrade is by emailed invitation only and at Take Profit Trader's sole discretion
The trader must complete the onboarding steps, agreements and documentation requested during the transition; the PRO trader contract and the Power of Attorney (POA) form are signed earlier, before the PRO account opens, specifically so a later PRO+ account can be opened with Tradovate
The Sustainable Trading Policy governs selection: performance in Test and PRO “should reasonably replicate in live-market PRO+ conditions”, and simulation-dependent or reckless approaches are not funded
After requirements are met the PRO+ setup “typically takes several days”, and a final upgrade to professional market data access “can take up to 12 hours, during which trading on both your PRO and test accounts will be temporarily unavailable”
What changes once live
Profit split rises from 80/20 on PRO to “90/10 profit split, where the trader keeps 90% of the profits”
Orders are routed to the exchange rather than simulated: “Trader directly routed to the exchange, not on the simulation or ''copy traded''”, on an account with $0 margin
“No buffer zone requirement for withdrawal”, replacing PRO's requirement to build a balance equal to the max drawdown before withdrawing
Drawdown model changes from PRO's intraday trailing drawdown to End-Of-Day drawdown
The PRO+ account “will begin with a $0 balance and an initial EOD drawdown equivalent to the starting drawdown of the original PRO account” — a $50,000 PRO becomes a PRO+ starting at $0 with a -$2,000 EOD drawdown — and the minimum balance trails realised profit upward, stopping at $0
The PRO account is placed on hold and $5,000 of its profit is frozen for as long as PRO+ is active; anything above that $5,000 can be withdrawn immediately under the PRO split
“Once the upgrade to PRO+ is complete, all future trading and withdrawals must be done on the PRO+ account only”
Commissions move off TPT's own $4.50 / $1.50 round-turn schedule to the broker's rates (NinjaTrader and Tradovate published schedules)
If the PRO+ account is lost, remaining PRO+ profit plus the trader's share of the frozen $5,000 is withdrawable; a negative PRO+ balance is deducted from that $5,000 first
A PRO+ account cannot be reset directly — the route back is to pass a new evaluation or reset an existing PRO account, which TPT then upgrades
All PRO+ accounts run under one CME Globex Self-Match Prevention ID, so an order may occasionally be rejected by CME; “rejected orders of this type do not affect your evaluation, trading permissions, or account standing”
Account-to-wallet withdrawals on PRO+ remain manual rather than the automated 5-10 second path now used for most Tradovate PRO accounts

The permitted-products list covers CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX only — “Most products traded on CME Group exchanges (CME, NYMEX, COMEX, CBOT) are permitted” — and a trader may ask live chat to review adding an instrument that is not listed. Commissions on Test and PRO accounts are set by TakeProfitTrader itself rather than a third party: $4.50 per round trip per contract on futures and $1.50 per round trip per contract on micros, identical on both account types; PRO+ accounts move to the broker's own published schedules (NinjaTrader and Tradovate). Maximum position size is a static contract count by account size (3/6/9/12/15 minis at 25K/50K/75K/100K/150K) with 10x that number on permitted micros. Tick sizes and point values are not published in the products article. The PRO+ commission article’s NinjaTrader PDF is now missing. The alternate Tradovate page shows free/monthly/lifetime per-side commissions of $1.29/$0.99/$0.59 standard and $0.39/$0.29/$0.09 micro, with exchange/clearing/NFA fees extra; TPT does not map PRO+ accounts to one of those retail tiers. Market depth is Rithmic-only: one exchange free and $15/month for each additional exchange; CQG market depth is unavailable.

How Take Profit Trader applies this list
Take Profit Trader publishes 119 restricted entries. Kosovo is among them; it has no official ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code, so some systems will not recognise it.
Twelve entries are dependent territories or non-sovereign areas rather than states — Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Cook Islands, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Heard and Mc Donald Islands, Mayotte, Montserrat, Northern Mariana Islands, Palestinian Territories, South Georgia South Sandwich Islands, Svalbard and Jan Mayen (spelled “Svalbarn” in the source table) and Western Sahara — and each has its own alpha-2 code, so none needed an ISO 3166-2 region entry.
The restriction is on access, not only residence: “Access to our platform - including trading accounts and market data - is strictly prohibited from restricted countries”, and placing a trade or even accessing or viewing market data from one is a violation — “even a single instance of such activity is considered a violation”, after which “the associated account(s) will be restricted or blocked without exception”. This explicitly covers VPNs, remote connections and shared networks that route activity through a restricted country.
Registration itself can be declined for a restricted country, for a VPN connection detected during registration, or for other internal risk factors; TPT states it is “strictly unable to disclose specific details regarding our internal review processes, risk controls, anti-fraud tools, or decisioning criteria”, and a denial does not necessarily mean the applicant is in a restricted country.
“This list is subject to change based on regulatory or brokerage updates.” The version captured here is the one published on the Restricted Countries page updated 2026-08-25.

Reviews & Verdict
Take Profit Trader sells a monthly Futures Test at $150 / $170 / $245 / $330 / $360 for25K /50K /75K /100K /150K. Passing leads to simulated PRO with an80% split and a separate $130 base activation fee, subject to eligible public promotions. Test minimum is three trading days with a below50% consistency ratio; PRO removes consistency but uses intraday trailing drawdown and a payout buffer equal to maximum loss. Withdrawals above the buffer are available from day one without a payout cap. Invitation-only live PRO+ increases the split to90%, uses EOD drawdown, and removes the buffer.

The Test carries no deadline of any kind: it is a rolling 30-day subscription with no expiry on the account, so a trader who needs four months to reach the target keeps paying rather than failing against a clock.
Breaking the Test consistency rule does not fail the account - it raises the bar. If one day is more than 50% of net profit the dashboard issues a larger profit goal and the account stays alive, which turns the most common evaluation killer into a delay rather than a loss.
The minimum trading-day count was cut from five to three in August 2026, and Take Profit Trader states this is a permanent program change rather than a promotional term, so a clean run can finish in three sessions.
Commissions on Test and PRO are a flat $4.50 per round turn on minis and $1.50 on micros, identical across every permitted product, and the firm states they are set by Take Profit Trader rather than passed through from a third party - so grains, currencies and metals cost a trader exactly what ES costs.
There is no scaling plan at any stage. Maximum position size is a static number from the first trade - 3 contracts at 25K rising to 15 at 150K, or ten times that in micros - and it neither grows with the balance nor is withheld early on.
The account-to-wallet withdrawal step is fully automated for Tradovate PRO accounts and completes in 5-10 seconds with no manual review, and a request rejected for open orders or insufficient funds can be corrected and resubmitted immediately with no queue and no waiting period.
The permitted list includes Micro Bitcoin and Micro Ether futures and the full Treasury curve (ZT, ZF, ZN, UB) alongside the usual index, energy, metals and grain contracts, and the firm invites requests to review instruments that are not on the list.
Trade copiers are explicitly permitted across accounts the trader owns, with a named approved list - Tradesyncer, TradeCopia, Affordable Indicators, Replikanto Flowbot Compliance Edition and the platform-native copiers in Tradovate, NinjaTrader, MotiveWave and Quantower - rather than being left to case-by-case judgement.
Five funded accounts can be held in any mix of PRO and PRO+, and Test accounts are unlimited and can be traded simultaneously, so evaluations can be queued behind the funded slots - subject to a cap of 10 passed-test activations in any 30 calendar days.
PRO+ improves the funded account in the three places that matter at once: the split rises from 80/20 to 90/10, the buffer requirement disappears entirely, the drawdown reverts from intraday to end-of-day, and orders are routed directly to the exchange instead of into a simulator.
The Downside
Room for improvement
The headline price is per month, not per pass: the Test is a subscription charged on the same calendar day every 30 days, so three months on a 100K Test costs $990 before the $130 activation fee, and Take Profit Trader states that breaking a rule does not cancel the subscription - the trader must cancel manually or keep being billed on a dead account.
Before a single dollar can be withdrawn from a PRO account the trader must build a buffer equal to the account's entire trailing drawdown - $26,500 on a 25K, $52,000 on a 50K, $154,500 on a 150K. On the 25K account that buffer is $1,500, exactly the profit target that was just met to pass the Test, so 'withdraw from day one' means earning the whole evaluation target again on day one.
Buffer money is not the trader's to take while the account lives: profits inside the buffer zone can only be withdrawn once the PRO account has been terminated, and at 50% rather than 80% if that termination falls within 60 trading days of the account opening.
The drawdown model gets stricter on funding rather than looser. The Test drawdown is calculated only at the end of the trading day, but the PRO drawdown trails intraday off peak balance including unrealised gains, so an open winner that gives its profit back can liquidate a PRO account on a day that the same trade would have survived in the Test.
'End-of-day' does not mean intraday immunity even in the Test: the floor only moves at the close, but the account is liquidated the moment the balance touches it, unrealised losses included, and recovering later in the session does not undo it.
The news rule exists only after funding, and it bans working orders as well as positions from one minute before to one minute after FOMC, NFP and CPI - plus crude inventories for CL and bond auctions for the notes - which means protective stops have to come off around exactly the releases where slippage is worst.
Two ordinary market events end a funded account outright: being in a position when a CME daily price limit is hit, and failing to exit before a holiday-shortened or early product close. On a normal day the firm simply auto-flattens at 4:55 PM ET with no penalty, so the same situation is a courtesy on Tuesday and an account loss on a half-day.
A PRO reset costs $449 at 25K rising to $1,499 at 150K - roughly three to four times the monthly Test subscription for that size - and the firm states plainly that the fee posts no capital and fulfils no margin requirement because PRO accounts are simulated. Only three are allowed per account, and a PRO+ account cannot be reset at all.
Fast payouts describe one hop of several. The automated 5-10 second step moves money from the trading account to the TPT wallet; the wallet-to-bank payout is manually reviewed for up to 12 business hours, Rithmic PRO and all PRO+ withdrawals are still manual end to end, the dashboard balance only refreshes between 8 and 9 PM ET, and any wallet withdrawal of $250 or less is charged a flat $50 fee - a 20% haircut at exactly $250 and worse below it.
The restricted list runs to 119 entries and reaches far past sanctions cases - Bulgaria, Croatia, Malta, Romania and Slovenia, plus South Africa, the Philippines, Peru, Turkey, Panama and the Northern Mariana Islands. A single instance of placing a trade or even viewing market data from one of them blocks the account 'without exception', explicitly including access routed through a VPN or a shared network, and a VPN detected at registration is itself grounds for denial.

The Upside
What we love about this plan
No daily loss limit at any point in the plan - not on the test and not on the funded account. The homepage prints the old per-size figures struck through and marked Removed, and none of the six Test rules, six PRO rules or six Universal Trading Policies reinstates one.
Withdrawals are available from day one of the funded account and every day after, with zero minimum profitable days, no payout window to wait for and no cap on the amount requested.
No consistency rule once funded, so a single outsized day never delays a withdrawal the way it delays passing the test.
The test has no time limit whatsoever - the three-day minimum can be spread over as long as the trader keeps the subscription alive.
The buffer is exactly the maximum drawdown with nothing added, so the withdrawal floor is knowable from day one: $26,500 on a 25K, $154,500 on a 150K.
The test remains active. Follow the dashboard profit target; the official formula and example conflict.
The Downside
What to weigh up on this plan
The drawdown model changes at the worst possible moment. The test runs on an end-of-day trailing drawdown; the funded PRO account switches to intraday trailing off the peak balance including unrealised gains, so an open trade that goes green and gives it back can end the account.
Pricing is a monthly subscription, so the cost of the test is unbounded - a trader who takes four months on a 100K pays $1,320 plus the $130 activation, against $330 for someone who passes in the first month.
Profit sitting inside the buffer is unreachable while the account is alive, and if the account ends within 60 trading days of opening the trader receives only 50% of it rather than 80%.
The 80/20 split is below the 90/10 that several competitors offer on simulated funded accounts, and TPT's own 90/10 only arrives at the discretionary PRO+ stage.
The activation fee is $130 on every size, so it is proportionally heaviest on the 25K, where it is almost as much as a month of subscription.
PRO resets are expensive - $449 on a 25K rising to $1,499 on a 150K, several times the price of a test reset - and are capped at three per account.

The Upside
What we love about this plan
Real live capital routed directly to the exchange, not a simulated environment and not copy traded - the only stage at TPT where that is true.
90/10 split, up from the 80/20 paid on a PRO account.
No buffer zone requirement at all, so profit is withdrawable as it is made rather than only above a balance floor set at the account's maximum drawdown.
The drawdown reverts to end-of-day trailing, so an intraday spike and give-back no longer ratchets the floor the way PRO's intraday model does.
The same day-one, daily payout policy carries over, with no withdrawal limits and no consistency rule.
No daily loss limit on a standard PRO+ account - the six PRO+ rules contain none.
The Downside
What to weigh up on this plan
It cannot be bought or earned to a published standard. TPT states plainly that there is no single threshold and the decision is made solely at its discretion, so no trader can plan around reaching it.
The account opens at a $0 balance carrying the originating PRO account's drawdown as its floor - a 50K trader starts at $0 against a -$2,000 line, with no cushion at all.
$5,000 of PRO profit is frozen as collateral for as long as the PRO+ account is active, and a negative PRO+ closing balance is deducted from it.
A lost PRO+ account cannot be reset. The only routes back are passing a fresh evaluation or paying for a PRO reset and waiting to be upgraded again.
Commissions move from TPT's flat simulated rates to broker schedules, so the real per-round-trip cost changes and is no longer published by TPT itself.
Once upgraded, the PRO account goes on hold and all trading and withdrawals must happen on PRO+ - there is no running both.
