Evaluation Guidelines
Traders start with a Qualification Account (“Challenge”) and must reach a profit target without breaching drawdown rules to qualify for a Master (funded) account.
Profit Targets & Drawdown Limits
Profit targets and drawdowns vary by account size. Typical structures include:
- $25K: Profit target ~$1,500 / Drawdown ~$1,500
- $50K: Profit target ~$3,000 / Drawdown ~$2,500
- $100K: Profit target ~$6,000 / Drawdown ~$3,000
- $150K: Profit target ~$9,000 / Drawdown ~$4,500
- $250K: Profit target ~$15,000 / Drawdown ~$5,500
Drawdown rules depend on the chosen risk structure.
Option 1 – Trailing Drawdown
The drawdown level trails your highest account balance in real time (including unrealized P/L + commissions).
Once breached, the account is blocked.
No separate daily loss limit applies for Option 1.
Option 2 – End-of-Day (EOD) Drawdown + Daily Loss Limit
Drawdown is assessed at end of each trading day.
There’s also a Daily Loss Limit based on account size (e.g., $400 on $10K, $500 on $25K, up to ~$4,500 on $250K).
Hitting daily loss stops trading for that day but doesn’t count as a rule violation.
Trading session: 5:00 PM to 4:00 PM Central Time (CT) / all open positions must close by 3:59 PM CT.
No minimum trading day requirement to pass the evaluation, though a day counts only when activity occurs.
Maximum position size is defined per account.
Trading bots/algorithms are allowed (but firm isn’t responsible for technical issues).
Hard Breach Rules
Evaluation fails if the Maximum Loss Limit is breached.
