PERPS: Crypto & Financial Prop Trading

Explore perpetual futures prop trading with Vest Markets. Compare crypto and financial markets, LUMI offers, funding costs, account rules and eligibility.

Perpetual markets, account rules and real costs

PERPS are perpetual derivatives with no scheduled expiry. Funded. Now currently represents Vest Markets for crypto and financial perpetuals. Use LUMI on eligible listed offers, then compare the named account's loss limits, funding costs and payout conditions. Perpetuals do not confer ownership of the underlying asset, and a funded account does not guarantee a withdrawal.

Crypto PERPS and financial PERPS

Crypto markets

Vest lists crypto perpetuals such as BTC and ETH. Crypto trading is continuous, but funded-account instrument restrictions still apply. Review the current market list instead of assuming every exchange token is available.

Financial markets

Vest also lists perpetual exposure to indices, equities, commodities and FX. These products follow their own specifications and trading schedules. They are not ownership of shares, physical commodities or direct access to a dated CME futures contract.

One eligible example per plan, not a ranking of equal-sized accounts. USD amounts are account-access fees; the displayed account balance is not cash you receive. Read the linked account for all configurations and offer evidence.

Funding, fees and loss limits are different costs

Vest settles perpetual funding hourly. The direction and rate can change; holding a leveraged position can create costs beyond the account purchase. Funding uses position notional, so changing leverage without changing position size does not change that payment. Market locks do not necessarily stop all funding components.

Before purchasing, check permitted countries and identity requirements, the account's daily and maximum loss floors, trading fees, and the steps required to claim and withdraw profit. Keep margin requirements separate from a prop account's loss allowance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does PERPS mean?

PERPS is short for perpetual futures: derivatives without a scheduled expiry. They provide price exposure without ownership of the underlying asset. Their funding mechanism, margin, trading hours and risk controls depend on the venue. A prop account adds a separate set of evaluation or funded-account rules.

Which PERPS prop firm is listed here?

Vest Markets is the only firm represented in this curated PERPS directory at launch. It covers crypto and financial markets. This is not a market-wide ranking, and a crypto prop firm is not automatically a perpetual-futures provider. New firms need product and account evidence before inclusion.

Can I use LUMI for perpetual futures prop accounts?

Funded. Now lists LUMI on eligible Vest Markets offers. The account examples show the currently listed eligible offers. Check the exact plan, price, activation treatment and restrictions. LUMI is not established as valid at every PERPS firm.

Are financial PERPS the same as CME futures?

No. A perpetual referencing an equity index or commodity is a different product from its dated exchange-traded futures contract. An ES or NQ label does not establish direct CME contract access. Confirm the venue, contract specification, price source, position unit and settlement rules before comparing account sizes or costs.

Do all perpetual markets trade 24/7?

No. Vest documents continuous crypto trading, but its financial markets have scheduled closures. A position can remain open during a market lock while you cannot adjust or close it. Check the current schedule for the exact instrument, including holidays and halts.

Is perpetual funding a prop firm evaluation fee?

No. A prop program charges for account access under its terms. Perpetual funding is a separate holding-cost mechanism. Vest settles funding hourly between long and short positions; positive rates mean longs pay shorts, and negative rates reverse the direction. Trading fees, spreads and the account's loss rules are separate.
