Trading Rules
What's allowed during trading
View conditions
Allowed on LucidFlex, LucidPro and LucidDirect - traders may enter or exit around scheduled or unscheduled news events without it being a breach. Not allowed on LucidDaily, where trading red-folder news is a hard breach. Lucid warns that slippage and velocity logic can trigger during news and that the trader carries full responsibility for the outcome.

Not addressed as its own rule; it follows from the daily flat rule. All positions on LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect must be closed by 4:45 PM EST Monday through Friday and the market only reopens at 6:00 PM EST Sunday through Thursday, so no position can be carried across a weekend.
View conditions
All positions must be closed by 4:45 PM EST Monday through Friday and anything left open is auto-closed by Lucid at that time; holding past the cutoff flattens the position but does not fail the account. Trading resumes at 6:00 PM EST Sunday through Thursday. Swing trading is not allowed on the new LucidLive accounts either.

All forms are prohibited: across a trader's own accounts, between different users' accounts, and between Lucid and other firms or funded platforms. Long and short the same contract is allowed only within one account and only when one leg is minis and the other micros; opposing positions in correlated products across separate accounts (long ES in one, short NQ in another) are prohibited. A first flag resets the involved accounts to the prior day's balance; repeated offenses breach all involved accounts and can bring a permanent restriction. Hedging a live account is called out separately as a permanent-ban offense under both Lucid and CME rules.
