Trading Rules
What's allowed during trading
View conditions
“FundedNext Futures does not allow overnight or weekend trade holding. Traders must close all positions by 3:10 PM Central Time (CT) each trading day. Positions not closed by this time are automatically closed.” For the weekend specifically: “The market closes Friday at 3:10 PM CT and reopens Sunday at 5:00 PM CT.”

“Copy trading is allowed only when traders copy their own trades, either between their own FundedNext Accounts or between FundedNext and other prop firms, provided all accounts are owned by the same individual and verified.” Any copier tool is permitted for that purpose, “including Tradovate's built-in copy trading feature, NinjaTrader modules like Replikanto” and third-party platforms. “Using signal services, group trading, or copying trades from other traders' accounts is strictly prohibited, even through automated tools.”

Same rule as the weekend: positions must be closed by 3:10 PM CT each trading day and anything still open is closed automatically, with “trading can resume at 5:00 PM CT”. The market is closed between 3:10 PM CT and 5:00 PM CT, so no position survives the session boundary.

Two named prohibitions plus a contractual one. “Reverse Hedge — Opposite positions across accounts to guarantee a win” and “Hedging with Correlated Instruments — Hedging across highly correlated instruments to artificially reduce risk” are both on the forbidden list (the worked example is buying ES while shorting YM), and Futures Challenge Terms 1.2.20 states “Cross-account hedging within FundedNext or with other firms is not allowed.” No published rule addresses a simple hedge inside one account and one instrument.
